Professor John Moverley, Amenity Forum Chairman writes: ''These continue to be challenging times - funding cuts, the Sustainable Use Directive (SUD), the issues around water and other factors are significantly impacting on the Amenity sector. In such times, despite the pressures and constraints, it is important that we seek to present one voice and the Amenity Forum aims to do just that.
Our annual conference seeks to be a focused event when those from the sector can come together, discuss the key issues and help the Forum establish a clear statement of priorities and actions for the year ahead - setting an agenda for action. We are seeking to keep the costs down as low as possible. We know your time is valuable but do hope that you can find a way to attend and provide your views.
Whatever, the Amenity Forum will continue to lobby and represent your views. However we would very much benefit from your attendance on this occasion which will aim to be a highly participative event. Attendance is free of charge to one person from each full Amenity Forum member. For all others attending, there will be a small charge of £25 per person including lunch. Thank you''
