Ransomes Mastiff Mower for Spanish Football Club
Jardineira Sant Narcis, the grounds care company responsible for the pitch maintenance at the Nou Estadi, home to Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the Catalan region of Spain, has purchased a Ransomes Mastiff mower from Ransomes Jacobsen's Spanish distributor, Green Mowers.
Gimnàstic de Tarragona is a multi-sports club with professional teams competing in basketball, tennis, table tennis and football. Their football team currently plays in Segunda División, having been relegated from La Liga, the Spanish first division at the end of the 2006-07 season.
This is the third Ransomes Mastiff purchased by Jardineira Sant Narcis and will be used within the 14,500-seater stadium for match-day preparation. Gimnàstic de Tarragona was founded in 1886 and as result is one of the oldest football clubs in Spain.
Jardineira Sant Narcis are also responsible for the grounds maintenance at Camp Clar Sports Centre in Tarragona, which is situated in an industrialised area of the city that has being regenerated by the Catalonia authorities.
