The granddaughter of a former Anfield groundsman is donating rare photographs and match programmes to the LFC museum.

The collection includes a black and white image of Arthur Riley, head groundsman at Anfield for 54 years, and his team working through the night to clear snow off the pitch during the January and February 1963 big freeze.

Granddaughter Melanie Collier, 29, said: "All the snow over Christmas reminded me about the famous picture and I dug out all the photos.
