New ALKO range.jpgRochford Garden Machinery welcomed over 300 visitors to the Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset, for their annual Trade Day on the 8th October. With 25 manufacturers in attendance, the record number of visitors had plenty to explore in the morning's static displays, with many manufacturers launching new products, and previewing prototypes for the first time before their launch in the 2010 season.

Highlights included the new AL-KO "Good-Better-Best" lawnmower range, the new models shown for the first time to the UK dealer network.

After lunch, where visitors gathered to share ideas and experiences, dealers were able to get hands-on with products from all of the manufacturers in attendance, with tractors, mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters and more all working in the on-site 12 acre demonstration field.

With fantastic weather overhead, dealers could experience both existing and brand new products in action for the first time, and by the end of the day almost the entire field had been mowed by dealers trying out tractors from AL-KO, John Deere, Westwood, Hayter and more.

Finally, dealers were treated to a tour of the motor museum, the largest motor museum in Europe, housing over 400 of the rarest and most valuable cars ever produced. Mark Rochford, Marketing Manager commented:

"This has been by far our most ambitious event, with many dealers and manufacturers saying it was the best trade show they have ever attended. The event shows our commitment to the specialist dealer network, as well as our policy of constant improvement. With our strongest ever product line-up, we are looking forward to the 2010 season."

Rochford GM would like to take the opportunity thank all of the manufacturers in attendance, and all of the visitors, for a successful and memorable day.
