Saldana 0058.jpgSaldana Golf Club, located six kilometres from Burgos in northern Spain, has recently purchased 16 of the latest electric E-Z-GO RXV golf cars from local distributor Green Mowers.

Saldana is a new golf course, family-owned and initially designed by Pepe Gancedo with final design input from Laureano Nomen, which sits in 71 hectares of rolling countryside in the Castile-Leon region. The greens are constructed to USGA standards and water features prominently on the course; there are nine lakes and numerous streams which come into play on five holes.

Alphonso Gil is the Course Manager and says, "From the outset we planned to operate with golf cars and have purpose-built cart paths around the course. The RXVs are really special golf cars, especially the electric powered buggies. They are very economical to operate and daily maintenance is very easy. For the golfer they are quiet and have some excellent safety features. The drive motor has advanced technology that puts other golf cars in the shade.

"We use E-Z-GO buggies at our Lerma Golf Club and have always found them to be very reliable and very good value. When we constructed Saldana, we returned to Green Mowers because of the excellent service we always get from them."

When fully complete Saldana will feature a modern clubhouse, teaching academy and will have over 600 high-spec residential properties on the complex.
