FINE PRILLS XTEND COVERAGE
Xtend Fine features the same benefits of stabilised nitrogen as the original, (a slow, safe release of nutrients lasting up to 12 weeks) in prills approximately half the size.
Designed for application as either a liquid or a granule, this new product with its finer grading dissolves in water, in half the time. When used as a liquid, Xtend Fine, should be added to a half filled spray tank and agitated for five to ten minutes while making up the volume.
Applied as a granule, the fine prills give improved coverage, and their swift solubility minimises pickup. During hot, dry periods Xtend Fine can be "watered in", which further aids granule penetration.
With recommended rates of 20 to 200 kg per hectare, (depending on the application method) Headland's Xtend Fine lasts for up to three months, and is suitable for winter sports pitches, cricket outfields, golf tees and fairways etc. This new product provides a versatile form of long lasting nitrogen.

WEED FREE'S LAWN COMPANY TO DEVELOP WEB AT SALTEX
Since then The Lawn Company has been handling professional sports field construction work alongside turf care, both within and outside the industry. A marketing presence at Chelsea, Blenheim, Hampton Court and Tatton Park flower shows, plus appearances on TV and national press coverage have boosted hits on the TLC website to 150,000 per month, and Mike Seaton md. is looking to Saltex to develop the site further.
"We receive a lot of "professional" lawn care enquiries as well as domestic ones, and would like to promote turf, seed, mower, and chemical companies who could benefit from referrals from our site to theirs," he says.
"The Lawn Company has, and always will be more than just a lawn treatment company."
