Removing injured personnel from the sports field, parks or other public areas can be a tricky job for the first aiders and is often traumatic for the injured person.
The sooner the patient is removed, the sooner treatment can begin but this is often difficult when stretcher bearers have a considerable distance to walk or where access is too restricted to allow for a full sized vehicle.
This is why we developed the Injured Person Response Trailer (Ref IPRT). Designed to be towed behind a variety of off road vehicles, from a small garden tractor, to ATVs and 4x4s, the trailer does not take up valuable resources by being a costly vehicle that is permanently tied up for just one task; just unhitch it, and your towing vehicle is free for other uses.
The trailer will accommodate one patient and two stretcher bearers or medical personnel. The wide profile tyres allow for a smoother ride. There is a locker on board to provide storage for basic medical supplies.
There are optional extras available with the IPRT. A foul weather cover can be supplied to keep rain and wind off the patient and allow for some privacy. We can also supply a standard stretcher.
