Schiller Grounds Care are pleased to announce the appointment of Irish Grass Machinery as Republic of Ireland distributors for their full range of products.

Originally set up in 1999 by brothers Tony and Michael Smyth to distribute ground care equipment, the company has expanded and operates from a modern industrial unit in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

With eight employees, including four full time mechanics and a spares operation, they serve the Irish ground care and agricultural markets direct as well as distributing to dealers.

"We were aware of the Schiller products," says Tony Smyth, "and when we visited Saltex in 2013 we saw most of what we thought was a superb range.

We were looking for quality products to complement our existing range and we had customers wanting top class scarifiers, brushcutters and aerators. It was a natural process from there to become distributors."

Included in the Schiller products they are distributing are the Mantis Tillers, Little Wonder Power Products, Classen Turf Equipment and the Mantis ComposTumbler, with sales to landscapers, contractors and the Hire Market already progressing rapidly.

"No one in Ireland was selling the complete range," Schiller's David Goose points out, "Irish Grass Machinery have quickly shown there is a strong demand for our products and we're pleased to be working together to develop the market and service to customers."
