Colman will be responsible for the development and growth of Scotts' Turf & Amenity, Ornamental Horticulture and Speciality Agriculture sectors in the region and will provide a 'local' support for customers.

He also has a Diploma in Commercial Horticulture and has developed a strong technical reputation with key professional end-users in Ireland, which will help to further develop and grow the company's business in the area.

Commenting on his appointment, Colman said: "This is an exciting challenge for me and I am delighted to be working with a company of Scotts' reputation. I am very familiar with their product range across all divisions of the business, and it is second-to-none in the industry. My aim is to grow their business in Ireland and provide a high level of technical support."
