The company launched their new Supertrencher+ range at SALTEX which they say is a truly advanced dedicated trenching machine for draining sportsfields.
This new machine combines loads of customer requested features which all add up to improved operator efficiency and opportunities for increased profitability.
For example, because soil conditions vary, Shelton have included a new two speed digging wheel enabling the operator to select settings that best suit the soil conditions and an improved transverse conveyor layout minimising the chance of blockages.
Shelton have also redesigned the digging wheel assembly reducing the time taken to change worn cutters and enabling operators to change cutters through the inspection hatch at the back of the trencher hood rather than from below.
And for improved transportation and easy access to the exit port, the main conveyor folds alongside the machine.
As Mick Claxton explained "SALTEX was an excellent opportunity to showcase our new Supertrencher to customers and visitors from the UK and from our overseas markets. We were delighted with the interest shown in the machine and celebrated with a number of new orders".
