Farrington Gurney football groundsman Roger Colman has proved he knows a thing or two when it comes to looking after the pitch.
Mr Colman, who lives in Chilcompton, has been awarded Groundsman of the Year by the Somerset Football Association.
Mr Colman has looked after the ground for 18 years making sure the pitch is in top condition for the two teams who play in the local leagues.
The popular figure in local football does everything from marking out the pitch to making the teas and coffees.
He was presented with his award by Somerset FA official Brian Wells.
