CWC help clear the way for Royal visitor

By Ellie Tait

Complete Weed Control's Thames Valley franchisee John Allen and his team had their work cut out recently, when it was announced that a popular tourist attraction would be welcoming the most Royal of visitors.

Her Majesty The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited LEGOLAND in Windsor on British Tourism Day in June, showing the Royalcwclegolandpic.jpg

An eight-man team was called in at short notice and spent two days at the site, ensuring that it was the colourful LEGO creations rather than the weeds that caught the Royal eye.

Complete Weed Control have worked at LEGOLAND since it opened in 1996 and provide weed control to many other well-known local attractions and sporting venues including Windsor Castle, Royal Ascot, Newbury Race Course and Chelsea and Fulham Football Clubs and are hoping to receive the Royal Warrant later this year.

Franchisee John Allen said: "This wasn't an unusual job for us. We've got the resources to move on site at very short notice, making us the perfect choice for emergency weed control."
