Stuart Canvas Joins Natwest Cricket Force

As part of the initiative, Stuart Canvas has agreed to offer all registered clubs a 10 per cent discount off their sheet pitch-cover ranges.

NatWest CricketForce encourages cricket suppliers, supporters, their friends and families to give something back to their local community cricket club by volunteering to undertake major renovations to clubhouses and grounds over a "Big Weekend".

NatWest CricketForce 2009 has already set a new record for the number of clubs involved in the initiative - with nearly 1400 clubs already registered. Last year NatWest CricketForce 2008 attracted a 1375 clubs, 85,000 volunteers and an estimated £35-£40 million in cash and kind.

Edward Stoddart, managing director of Stuart Canvas, comments; "This is a great initiative to help build strong clubs and community cricket. As long term supporters of cricket we wanted to get involved offer all the support we can."

NatWest CricketForce 2009 will take place on the weekend of April 3, 4 and 5 2009. Registrations are now live at www.ecb.co.uk.
