Stuart Canvas, the UK's leading manufacturer of bespoke sports, commercial and industrial covers announces today that it has become a preferred supplier to the Natwest CricketForce initiative. As part of the initiative, Stuart Canvas has agreed to offer all registered clubs a 10 per cent discount off their sheet pitch-cover ranges.
NatWest CricketForce encourages cricket suppliers, supporters, their friends and families to give something back to their local community cricket club by volunteering to undertake major renovations to clubhouses and grounds over a "Big Weekend".
NatWest CricketForce 2009 has already set a new record for the number of clubs involved in the initiative - with nearly 1400 clubs already registered. Last year NatWest CricketForce 2008 attracted a 1375 clubs, 85,000 volunteers and an estimated £35-£40 million in cash and kind.
