Supaturf joins Vitax

1st July saw two well-known companies join, as Vitax Ltd. acquired the business and assets of Supaturf Products.

David Griffiths, Chairman of Leicester based Vitax says that the companies are a good commercial fit and Vitax are keen to develop the Supaturf brands. "Supaturf, working closely with American manufacturers Aquatrols, have taken their water management products Primer and Revolution to a leading position in the U.K. market place, " he maintains, "and working almost as partners in Europe, they have built up substantial European business. We are looking forward to continuing the close working relationship with Aquatrols, and developing further U.K. business within the Local Authority sector, via Supaturf's extensive, national distribution network."

Tracey Jarman, C.E.O. of Aquatrols, believes that the addition of the Vitax range will underpin the expanding European activity, and that many new and innovative products will follow.

"Vitax have the resources to expand the Supaturf business," explains Michael Palmer, Supaturf's Sales Director. "Both companies are highly respected within the industry and this exciting move is the best way forward."
