FOR SPEED in the workshop - and on the golf course - Bernhard and Company is at the cutting edge of grinding technology with their dynamic duo Express Dual and Anglemaster.

At IOG Saltex they introduce the latest up-grades to their fleet of grinders, which includes refining the electrical system of the Express Dual 3000 to make it even easier to access for maintenance purposes.

Providing accuracy of the highest level, developments to this spin grinder also include a new improved chassis construction for even greater rigidity.

With safety very much to the fore new machine guarding has been fitted and a key is required for the operator to access the service function and set-up modes.

"Our grinders are extremely easy to use and ten walking greens mowers can be sharpened in just one hour," says Stephen Bernhard.
"This is extremely important when we assist at top tournaments on the PGA European Tour.
"Time, combined with top presentation standards, is of the essence."

Bernhard offers a range of grinders and Express Dual and Anglemaster 1000 give smaller clubs the opportunity to buy machines, which are very cost-effective and highly efficient.
"Our Bernhard grinders are so convenient - this is the best the course has ever been and we have good definition," says Angus MacLeod, Head Greenkeeper at the Newport Golf Club in South Wales.
"We can sharpen as and when we wish and the grinding cycle is very quick and easy to set up.
"We took on a mechanic and will soon recoup the cost of the grinders.
"Making at least a 25 per cent saving on fuel, cost-savings are also made by reducing down-time and not having to send units out to be ground."
