Press Releasein Industry News
sherrif amenity The groundsman's mentoring scheme, run by the Surrey Cricket Grounds man's Association (S.G.C.A.) and sponsored by Sherriff Amenity continues to
go from strength to strength.

This year three students received expert practical and theory tuition, including working at first hand with Bill Clutterbuck of Guildford Cricket Club, observing
his wicket maintenance and preparation.

A delegation from the S.G.C.A mentoring scheme were invited by Advanta Seeds to visit the Sports Turf Research Institute in Bingley, West Yorkshire. A tour of the trial plots gave a fascinating insight into the depth of research that assists with the continuing improvement and development of our sports surfaces.
