Swan Plant Services, one of the Europe's leading specialist hire companies for the professional grounds care sector, has recently purchased a further 20 Highway 2130 ride on triple mowers from Ransomes Jacobsen Ltd. Highway2130.jpg

These new additions all have four-wheel drive and diff lock as standard and have doubled the fleet of Highways operated by Swan. Compact, highly manoeuvrable and with a light footprint they provide excellent tractive performance and are ideal for mowing in an urban environment.

Tim Jones, CEO of Swan commented, "We are delighted with the long term relationship that has been forged with Ransomes Jacobsen. We signed a contract at Saltex back in 2002 and took delivery of the first tranche of 20 machines soon afterwards.

"The Highway is a real workhorse and is an important part of our hire fleet. It is ideal for a host of applications and with a wide selection of reel configurations it provides excellent finishes on parks, sports fields and roadside verges. The Highway is a perfect machine for our portfolio of partnerships with local authorities and contractors that we have established over the past few years."

Ransomes Jacobsen is a Textron company manufacturing a full range of turf maintenance equipment and vehicles for golf, turf, professional lawn care, municipal and industrial applications. Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) is an $11 billion multi-industry company with 49,000 employees in 40 countries. More information is available at www.ransomesjacobsen.com and www.textron.com.
