0 Swept away by the speed of it

When it comes to sweeping grain there's little to touch the SweepEx broom system for speed and versatility. Take one man and a SweepEx and in five minutes you'll do the job of five men hand sweeping for an hour.

Simply fitted to a compact or large tractor, skidsteer, loader or forklift, the SweepEx has no moving parts, chains, motors or drive belts, so there's nothing to go wrong and no down time. With a JCB or Matrbro handler for example the hitch allows you to use it directly on the back plate, mounting and dismounting it in seconds without leaving the cab.

Working in the grain store a SweepEx broom will sweep on vented or slatted floors and not only is it fast it will also clear away materials you wouldn't expect. On the farm yard the SweepEx saves time and money because its versatility lets you clear away all types of debris including slurry, small rocks and even snow. The unique bristles, it is claimed, will sweep up to 450 miles before wearing and then it's just a five minute job to change them.

All SweepEx brooms feature a high tensile steel broom head and mounting hardware, with a heavy-duty powder coated finish, so they last and last. There's a wide range available to suit a whole variety of purposes. You could choose from the Pro Series 1.52m (60") and 1.83m (72") push broom as well as three sizes in the Mega range or, for the bigger jobs, the huge MegaMax, the heavy-duty broom with side retainers that hold bulk volumes of material in front of the brush, avoiding spillage at the sides.

Working with the Mega Max is 65% quicker than using a standard push broom. To help your choice it's worth contacting Broadwood for a demonstration. Broadwood International www.broadwoodintl.co.uk 01420 478111.
