0 Syngenta sets the Big Game Challenge

BTME 2014 BGC box lrGreenkeepers and turf agronomists have the chance to win a place in a fabulous four-ball round of golf on the world-renowned West Course of Wentworth Golf Club, with The Big Game Challenge launched at BTME this week (21-23 January 2014).

The on-line competition will involve four rounds of questions, covering the key aspects of new Syngenta agronomic techniques to enhance turf health and improve playing surface quality.

Taking part gives the chance to win prizes at every round, with the entrants who have completed each round entering a draw for the Wentworth four-ball - including dinner and overnight accommodation in the prestigious Wentworth Clubhouse.

Syngenta Turf Marketing Manager, Caroline Carroll, highlighted each round was designed to add to turf managers' in-depth technical knowledge and provide practical guidance that could be readily implemented on their courses. "It gives the opportunity to keep up-to-date with the very latest scientific advances and approach to enhancing turf health," she added. "But it is also fun and will reward greenkeepers for their involvement."

The Competition's technical information will build on the educational resource of the Syngenta GreenCast website and utilise the company's popular E-Tech Bulletin communications, regularly received by over 3500 UK greenkeepers.
