Test cricket, we are told, is hard to market - which is usually a good indication of something's value.
Chris Gayle doesn't care if Test cricket dies altogether, and has been criticised for saying so. But his comments are merely reflecting a wider indifference to the format, as evidenced by the thousands of empty seats at the Riverside.
