The London Club has praised Toro for its high level of tournament support which, with a delivery of new equipment as part of an existing contract, helped ensure the course was in top condition for this summer's prestigious Bendinat London Seniors Masters.
As part of the tournament package it provides to customers, Toro supplied the Surrey course with support via dealer John Shaw Machinery and additional machinery from distributor Lely. This included fairway mowers, pedestrian greens machines, a Sidewinder mower, a HydroJect water-injection aerator, a Sand Pro bunker rake and two Workman utility vehicles.
"The Toro back-up for the Masters was excellent," said golf courses manager Peter Todd. "Sam Torrance commented personally on the condition of the course and said 'London Club - you're the best'. The event was a huge success and it was in no small way down to Lely and John Shaw who gave us complete peace of mind under a very demanding schedule."
The new machinery delivered as part of a three-year Toro machinery deal included four Reelmaster 5410 fairway mowers, a ProCore 648 aerator and Sand Pro 5040 bunker and landscape maintenance machine.
