Profihopper ZDrive 001 d1 110909The new lever-steered Profihopper zDrive offers complete zero-turn manoeuvrability mak-ing it ideal for use from sports pitches to paddocks and, whether mulching or collecting, even long, lush, wet grass is no problem for the Profihopper.

Superb efficiency and improved operational performance are features of the new zDrive with its simultaneous mowing, scarifying and collection in one pass making the Profihopper a proper all-rounder for green space maintenance. The new zDrive includes the chassis and engine layout from the other models in the Profihopper range which gives improved service accessibility and a simplified drive line for reduced maintenance costs and a higher longevity

Thanks to the new PowerCompactor out-front mowing deck, which is now fitted as standard to the zDrive, large amounts of grass and leaves are no problem for this new Profihopper. With its integrated collection system, the mowing unit provides, via the unique Amazone delivery system, an excellent collection of the cut material by utilising force feed technology, which uses augers rather than an air stream, to ensure a clean, dust-free operation. The increased auger speed and dimensions within the PowerCompactor deck offer both improved material flow and better com-pression capacity meaning that the cutting performance, as well as the output, has been in-creased. So, up to 1,000 litres of cut material can be collected in the 730 litre collecting hopper. This reduces not only the set-up and the non-productive times but also relieves the stress on the driver.

High-lift discharge can cope up to a height of 2.1 metres and with the pivot point being positioned far to the rear means that high-sided transport vehicles can be loaded quickly and comfortably. The BigBag disposal system is also available for the new zDrive to speed up the removal of the cut material away from site.

The lever steering allows a real zero-turn around the front steering axle that increases the flexibility in tightest of spaces. This allows precise operation without prior driving over the material to be mown. In combination with the Exact-Cut flail rotor, it results in an ideal solution for mowing and collecting grass, leaves and scarifying material.

The existing new Profihopper range, with its two steering-wheeled versions, Profihopper iDrive and the Profihopper 4WDi all wheel drive, with their 0-turning circle, are rounded off with the new zero-turn version; the Profihopper zDrive.
