0 Three year warranty for Honda GX-engines

While some of our competitors are content to follow where we lead, we have always kept, and will continue to keep the focus on innovation.

In 2009, we introduced the new GX V-Twin series, available in both horizontal and vertical shaft configuration.

In 2010, we started introducing our revised GX line-up, gradually replacing the previous generation of Honda's legendary commercial engines. As well as four all new models (GX240, GX270, GX340 and GX390), we introduced the intelligent iGX range, equipped with an electronic governor system that keeps the engine rpm stable under changing loads (iGX240, iGX270, iGX340 and iGX390). These iGX engines also feature advanced technology for more complex and demanding applications.

Finally, in 2011 we started to introduce our all-new GX120, GX160 and GX200.

Every engine in the current Honda range is equipped with either OHV or OHC-technology, and our standard offer of GX engines meets not only the EURO 2 regulations , but also the stringent CARB Tier 3 and EPA Phase 3 ''exhaust'' and ''fuel evaporative'' emission standards.

Now we are proud to announce that all GX-engines entering the market as from January 1st 2012 will be backed by a three-year warranty, covering both commercial and non-commercial use.

The new warranty will cover the following models:

GX100/120/160/200/240/270/340/390/440/630/660/690
GXV160/340/390/530/630/660/690

For other models there is no change.

This warranty coverage is applicable in the EU27 + Croatia, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey, with the same conditions and exclusions as our current warranty. More detailed information can be found on our website: www.honda-engines-eu.com.

HONDA GX 3YearWarrantyThe 3-year warranty is also applicable in the USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, although conditions and exclusions may differ slightly from those applying in Europe.

The introduction of the 3-year warranty marks a significant step forward in customer service, but we would also like to take the opportunity to remind you that for 100% user satisfaction, there is no substitute for regular maintenance, using original Honda parts.
