Toro was first choice for Ballards Gore Golf Club, in Essex, when earlier this year new owners brought in much-needed investment in machinery for the 18-hole parkland course. As a result, the club is reaping the rewards with all-round improvements in efficiency and quality.
Head greenkeeper Paul Brown said: "I knew what I wanted. Toro was top of the list for all-round performance and superb service, courtesy of local dealer Grasshopper. Since we signed a five-year exclusive deal we've seen significant improvements. Time-saving is a major benefit, especially with the Reelmaster 6700-D fairway mower and ProCore 648 greens aerator. And the electric Workman is a great workhorse."
The club is also considering installing a full Toro irrigation system in the near future.
