Toro is celebrating its success in securing a major deal with yet another prestigious Scottish golfing venue - this time, the fabulous Gleneagles Hotel. The famous resort has signed a supply agreement for a comprehensive range of Toro course machinery that includes tees, greens, fairway and rough mowers, as well as utility vehicles and aerators.

Lely's Toro sales manager Jeff Anguige says: "We are delighted to be working with The Gleneagles Hotel, and look forward to developing the partnership and meeting their course machinery needs for the foreseeable future."

Set in 850 acres of stunning scenery, Gleneagles is one of the leading golf and spa luxury hotels in Scotland. The Five Red Star resort offers three championship courses and a myriad of sporting and leisure activities. The magnificent hotel was designed in the style of a French chateau and was the setting for the G8 summit of world leaders last summer.

The Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course hosts the annual Johnnie Walker Championship and has been selected as the venue for the Ryder Cup in 2014.

Toro commercial turf maintenance products are distributed throughout mainland UK by Lely (UK) Limited, St Neots, Cambridgeshire (tel: 01480 226800), and in all of Ireland by Lely Ireland Limited, Kilboggin, Nurney, Co. Kildare (tel: 00 353 (0)45 526170).
