0 Tractors as individual as you are

new holland Tractors in New Holland's TL-A line-up are poised to make significant inroads into the groundcare and amenity markets. Being shown at IOG Saltex, they offer great flexibility with a huge number of options and adaptations that can be specified. This enables the machines to be tailored exactly to meet individual users' needs, especially those who appreciate the combination of high performance and operational flexibility.

The TL-A series comprises four models, namely the TL70A (72hp), TL80A (82hp), TL90A (91hp) and the TL100A (100hp). The largest models in the company's impressive TL-A line-up are the versatile 91hp and 100hp workhorses, which have 167-litre fuel tanks that give extended operating time between refuelling. These high work-rate tractors are quite simply bestsellers - they are the top-selling tractors of all brands in their class throughout Europe.

An important benefit to operators of the TL-A range is their relatively low height - even the largest tractor is less than 2.5m tall (8ft 3in). This makes them ideal for tasks in low buildings or under trees. Furthermore, New Holland's engineers have still been able to mount the air conditioning system in the roof of the cabs, maximising efficiency, whilst still offering a flat floor. Cabs are also designed for the best all-round visibility possible.

At the heart of the rugged machines are New Holland's new NEF 4.5-litre, four-cylinder Tier II engines that offer outstanding torque and power to meet the most demanding applications, yet they are astonishingly quiet in operation. Low fuel consumption is a hallmark of the TL-A range, and best in the industry 600-hour service intervals help users to achieve consistently low operating costs.

The tractors can be specified with two- or four-wheel drive, with a 550 steering angle and hydrostatic steering for fast lock-to-lock turns. This enables a four-wheel drive tight turn radius of 4.05m to be made for excellent manoeuvrability.

Two transmission choices are available. These comprise of 20x12 Shuttle Command with super creep speed (0.250m/h) and 24x24 Dual Command transmission with Powershuttle. Four-wheel drive versions are standard, with 40kph and 4-wheel braking. This enables customers to choose the exact specification that best suits their individual circumstances.

New Holland makes these tractors available with a wide range of options. PTO speeds of 540 or 540/540E/1000, PTO rear fender switches and PTO soft start can be incorporated on 24x24 transmissions, to facilitate starting large inertia mowers and using rear operated attachments like wood chippers.

A Power Clutch is now available for the four main Syncromesh gears on Powershuttle 24x24 transmissions for gear shifting without using the main clutch pedal. In addition, for those customers who do not need it, the performance monitor on 24x24 transmission machines can be removed and the cost savings passed on to the customer. Other options include two mid-mount remotes with flow control and joystick, up to three rear remotes and factory fit front loader brackets, for full customisation.

Customers now have a wider range of tyre options available and brand choice such as Continental, Firestone, Pirelli, Michelin, Goodyear and Kleber.

All this choice carries an attractive price tag. The standard TL90A costs £24,026 and £26,898 for the two- and four-wheel drive variants respectively, while the TL100A is similarly offered at £24,825 and £27,531.

New Holland Dealers can also offer low cost finance schemes via CNH Capital and "Service Plus" and extended warranty cover over 3, 4 or 5 years to suit individual customers needs.
