USA Award for Martyn Jones
Congratulations to National Turfgrass Foundation's Martyn Jones who, this week, was honoured by the Ohio State University for his contribution to the sports turf industry.
Martyn was described as a true pioneer of turfgrass education and research. He received the Professional Excellence Award from Dr Karl Danneberger who described Martyn's contribution to the industry as truly "Global".
The presentation was made at the 9th Annual Sports Turf Short Course. A selection committee was formed to develop and present the awards that recognised outstanding people in the sports turf industry.
