Wembley experts called in by Forest Green

Forest Green Rovers have called in the same pitch experts that relaid the Wembley turf.

As Premier Pitches moved out of the national stadium in readiness for the FA Trophy and FA Cup finals, the company travelled to the New Lawn to perform their renovations works under the supervision of Rovers' head groundsman Matt Rainey.

While Rovers players retain their full-time professional status to compete in the Blue Square Premier for the 12th season, the board of directors have supported Rainey and commissioned Football League style renovations works, using the best pitch specialists around.
