Ian Darler has spurned some of the country's top clubs over the years.
So the FA need not come running to the Cambridge United stadium manager's door either if they need someone to tend the much-criticised Wembley surface.
"Someone asked me that the other day, but if I was offered £1million a year I wouldn't take the job," said Darler, who has won numerous awards for his efforts with the Abbey pitch over the last 28 years.
