Wiedenmann- Terra Spike GXi8Wiedenmann UK is bringing its newest Terra Spike™ to Saltex. The brand new GXi 8 will be unveiled in Britain on Stand V26.

Chas Ayres, Wiedenmann UK sales manager, said: "Reports from Germany are very favourable indeed. I'm heading out to Wiedenmann Gmbh HQ next week to see it with the rest of our team. Apparently it covers even the largest of greens far quicker than we'd hoped. We're seeing it up close in a proper working environment so very shortly we will know its capabilities first hand."

The GXi8 has a 40cm wider working width than its sister machine, the GXi6. It is suitable for tractors 35 hp and above. Since it was launched in 2006 the Terra Spike GXi 6 has won many fans for its smooth and fast operation and the GXi8 will undoubtedly prove likewise.

"The beauty of the GXi 6 is that it can reduce time spent on maintenance by up to 60 per cent. It's very efficient and because of it's depth and quality of finish it does away with the need for two machines, operating as a deep aerator, but with the speed normally associated with machines operating at shallow depths," continued Chas Ayres. "The extra width will be attractive to all types of customers."

Around 50 British and Irish dealers and key clients will join the Wiedenmann UK party in July for the European launch of the GXi8 at Rammigen, near Munich.
