7339'CC3000HL Core Collector.jpgThe newly redesigned CC3000HL Core Collector from Charterhouse Turf Machinery is still the only pedestrian operated machine of its kind in the world. Enabling speedy clear-up of greens to get them back into play after essential aeration work, it now has an integral belt collection system for maximum pick-up efficiency.

More power is provided by a 7.5hp Briggs & Stratton petrol engine and the transmission gives six forward speeds plus reverse. The spacious hopper has a 1 cu m capacity and it tips hydraulically to a height of 1.3m (51in) for efficient emptying into utility vehicles and trailers.

The CC3000HL's collection head features direct hydraulic drive, which does away with V-belts and gives reliable operation. It is also fully floating, enabling it to hug ground contours for constant performance. Overall, the machine is 160cm (63in) long, 117cm (46in) high and 100cm (39in) wide.

An automatic integral swage board conveniently pushes cores into wind rows for easy. The machine weighs 280kg (616 lb7339'CC3000HL Core Collector#2.jpgs) unladen and 750kg (1650 lbs) when full, and turf tyres are fitted as standard.

A press-down operation lever is fitted for straightforward control of forward and reverse speeds, and the conveyor is of split construction with an integral joiner link for ease of replacement.

"New for 2007, the CC3000HL combines extra power and simplicity, giving greater performance and efficiency," says Philip Threadgold, Managing Director of Charterhouse Turf Machinery. "Offering features for extra durability and easier servicing, it is an obvious choice for greenkeepers and other turf professionals seeking an effective solution to the back-breaking task of core clean up."
