Yorkshire Groundsman's Association

Back in March 2004 the first AGM of the Yorkshire Groundsmans Association was held and formally constituted, this has allowed the association to move forward to help clubs and groundsmen access more and more information as well as help them maintain and improve their facilities via a number of opportunities available. The County has Three Turf Care Trailers courtesy of Channel 4 that are packed with useful machinery, which can be hired, by members or member clubs. One of these trailers will be available at the forthcoming Groundsmen's Gathering at Stamford Bridge CC to enable members the opportunity to undergo the relevant risk assessment. A trailer will also be in attendance at all future regional I.O.G courses.
