Pitchcare care passionately about the environment and as such make every effort to work in partnership with environmentally friendly companies and quarries.
These cobbles are sourced from a quarry that has commissioned a badger survey to secure the safety of the local endangered population. Environmental experts have also helped to develop quarrying techniques that lead to the formation of natural wetlands, forming a natural habitat for Morayshire's varied flora and fauna. Trees and shrubs are also planted to further encourage birds and ducks to the area.
