Sunday 12th of January 2003 was a special day for all of us here at Pitchcare. It was marked by the 3000th member joining the website and represents a tremendous achievement in just 16 months. The site is now visited by around 400 people every day reading over 4500 pages between them.

Even the Christmas and New Year period didn't seem to dampen spirits as we recorded levels of use at over 2200 user sessions per week from the 20th December to the 2nd January. Last week alone, 82 members joined (maybe people got new computers for Christmas!).

We have added new working diaries to the magazine sections and we ask members to e-mail mail@pitchcare.com with any helpful hints and tips that might be of benefit to all who visit. Our philosophy remains the same that a problem shared is a problem solved so if you can, take a few seconds to respond with one helpful tip each. We will publish all the relevant ones and we would be delighted to put your name with the useful tip supplied (It's your choice).

There have been a lot of changes to the site, all of which have been to simplify access and search facilities. The magazine sections are now easily printed and articles can be e-mailed to a friend. There is also easy means of searching for similar articles or articles by a particular author. It should be noted too, that we will be pleased to publish articles about your club or place of work.
