Antony Wainwright

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Antony Wainwright.

Until joining the STRI last year, Antony was a regular contributor to the Pitchcare magazine with a forthright and instructive approach to golf course ecology.

Through his articles, and during his time at the STRI, he made a significant contribution to the golf industry through his knowledge and enthusiasm for the world of ecology.

He was a kind and gentle person and held in high regard by all who came into contact with him.

He will be missed and our heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to his family, wife and children.
