Aston Villa Star Groundsman Scoops Top Football Award

Aston Villa Star Groundsman Jonathan Calderwood has scooped the Campey/Imants sponsored 2012 IOG Award Professional Football Groundsman of the Year.

The Awards took place recently at York racecourse and by all accounts were the most successful and well-attended to-date.

Richard Campey, Managing Director of Campey Turf Care and Hans De Kort, Director of Imants BV, express their delight in presenting the award to Jonathan.

"Jonathan is no stranger to awards, having already received the IOG Groundsman's Groundsman of the year award in 2009." says Richard "We are thrilled to acknowledge that he is still at the top of his profession and thoroughly deserves this recognition."
