Koro RCD New for 2013 (2)Campey sets the trends in modern sports turf machinery with even more new products added to the range and with an emphasis on recycling.

The benefits of recycling are widely accepted and are common place in the domestic and industrial workplace. Not so well known are the enormous advantages to be gained from applying the same principles to the structure of the soil.

The latest Koro Recycling Dresser MKII is a heavy duty aerator and root-zone recycler. It aerates the underlying soil vertically and horizontally, removing soil from the root-zone and re-distributing it across the playing surface.
The result is compaction is eliminated, biological activity increased and existing fertilisers are re-distributed to greater effect. This in turn reduces the amount of topdressing required, saving labour and material costs and promoting sustainable maintenance.

There are 3 working widths; 1.6m, 1.9m and 2.2m for tractors from 40hp to 90hp.

Imants Shockwave 2.75m (2)Once again Imants has responded to demand from customers and produced an additional model of Imants Shockwave with increased working width 2.75m. This will build on the success of the current models which have proved exceptionally effective in these extremely wet weather conditions. The new wider working width will provide an even greater weapon for combatting and alleviating excessive water on sports surfaces, quickly and with minimum disruption.

Other products on display at BTME 2013 for the first time are the Koro FTM rotors, launched last year. Successful applications include the All England Lawn Tennis Club, which upgraded their Koro by Imants fleet with the addition of two modular 1.20mtr Field Top Makers (FTM).

Their first modular FTM is fitted with the deep scarification rotor, which enables you to linear aerate and prepare a seed bed for overseeding. The second FTM is fitted with the new Koro Terraplaner rotor which removes all the unwanted organic material and Poa Annua plants, leaving a perfectly level surface, ready for aeration and overseeding.

The 1.2m Vredo Supa Compact, Imants Rotoknife and Dakota 410 Top Dresser can also be seen on the stand.
