Who are you? Colin Burchett (47) Ranger for Fair Oak & Horton Heath Parish Council.

Status ? Married for twenty-three years with two teenage children.

Who's your hero and why? Bruce Parry (presenter of Tribe and Amazon) as he enjoys his life and can empathise with different people.

What is your dream holiday? Snorkelling in the Maldives, one day hopefully.

What annoys you the most? Wind chimes, the phrase 'carbon footprint', sci-fi, queues and waiting generally, things I don't understand, sandy beaches, my wife watching sci-fi, there's more…

What would you change about yourself? To be more patient and have more disposable income.

Who wouldn't you like to be? A teacher, two kids is more than enough to look after!

Favourite record, and why? Barbarellas by 'The Photos' (a band nobody else has ever heard of), I used to play it loudly before going out.

Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? When I was four I fancied Destiny Angel from Captain Scarlet, but I would insist on a 'no strings attached' relationship.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Buy a Westfield Hayabusa and only work a 3-day week.

If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would you be? A triangle. It may appear to be simple, but if not respected it still has the potential to mess up the whole arrangement.

What's the best advice you have ever been given? If you can screw it, screw it (my dad on DIY).

What's your favourite smell? Freshly picked mint.

What three words would you use to describe yourself? Loyal, irritable, considerate.

What talent would you like to have? To make my kids listen and then do as they are told.

What makes you angry? Rudeness, unfairness and bullies.

What law/legislation would you like to see introduced? An IQ test before you are allowed to breed.
