Entry is FREE and open to all golf clubs and courses, no matter what size or type, anywhere in the world. Every golf course has an equal chance of winning an award - the judging is based solely on your environmental focus and projects.

Entries close on Friday 25 August 2023. How To Enter

There are six award categories this year, these are: Operation Pollinator, Conservation Champion, Sustainable Project of the Year, Ecological Project of the Year, UK Environmental Golf Course of the Year, and International Environmental Golf Course of the Year.

Please send us at least 10 high-quality photos with your application. These can be emailed to info@golfenvironmentawards.com or sent via WeTransfer. Please ensure you provide the name of your golf club in the subject of the email with your photos attached.

If you think your golf club is providing a positive contribution to the environment, then why not enter the awards?
NOTE: For international clubs, please only enter the 'International Environmental Golf Club of the Year' category.

Applicants to the Golf Environment Awards can choose from six categories to enter:

International Environmental Golf Club of the Year

Awarded to an international club that demonstrates efficient management across each of the following areas: Nature Conservation Management, Turfgrass Management, Waste Management, Water Management.

UK Environmental Golf Club of the Year

Awarded to a UK golf club that brilliantly demonstrates efficient management across each of the following areas: Nature Conservation Management, Turfgrass Management, Waste Management, Water Management.

Sustainable Project of the Year Award

Awarded to golf clubs who have implemented a successful sustainable project, with clear objectives and targets that contribute to a better environment and are making sound progress in fulfilling the goals of the project.

Ecological Project of the Year Award

Awarded to golf clubs who have implemented a successful ecological project, with clear objectives and targets that contribute to a better environment and are making sound progress in fulfilling the goals of the project.

Conservation Champion Award

Awarded to outstanding individuals who make significant contributions to the success of the clubs environmental and ecological management and hence make a fundamental positive impact on the surrounding landscape and biodiversity.

Operation Pollinator Award

Awarded to golf clubs who consistently deliver outstanding ecological habitat creation and
management.
