Gaudet Luce return to E-Z-GO for New RXV golf car fleet

Gaudet Luce Golf Club, situated close to the M5 at Hazdor on the outskirts of Droitwich in Worcestershire, is another club that has returned to local dealer, TH White of Redditch to purchase a second fleet of E-Z-GO RXV golf cars. E-Z-GO is a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company.

Martin Fernihough is managing director at the club and commenting on the RXV golf car said, "We have found these E-Z-GO golf cars to be very reliable and cost-effective; they are exceedingly good and that's the prime reason we've returned to TH White to renew the fleet. They have been excellent revenue generators for the club and so long as they are correctly managed and properly looked after, they perform virtually flawlessly.

"We are one of the 19% of clubs in Worcestershire that has seen an increase in membership over the past year. For us it's very satisfying as it's across all categories; our Junior section has 124 members and the Girls' membership is the largest in the county. Our par 3 course, which is maintained to the same exacting standards as our 18-hole course, has seen 57 members migrate across to full membership.

"People are more discerning now and want value-added services and that's why, when renewing the buggy fleet, we've taken an extra vehicle, because the demand is there. Our team is very service-orientated and we use our staff training budget to ensure they have the professional skills to provide service excellence."
