Who are you? Peter Ashworth, Head Groundsman at Preston North End Football Club.

Family status? Married to Selina, with one five year old daughter, Lucy.

Who's your hero? Sir Alex Ferguson.

What would you change about yourself? Not a lot, I'm happy as I am.

What's your guilty pleasure? I don't really have one.

What's been the highlight of your career so far? Winning League One Groundsman of the Year.

What are your pet peeves? Laziness.

If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be? Disneyland with my daughter and missus.

What's the best part of your job? Producing a quality pitch and receiving good comments.

… and the worst? Frost sheets.

Do you have a lifetime ambition? Just to achieve as much as I possibly can, with no regrets.

Favourite record, and why? This is the one, by the Stone Roses. I find it inspiring.

Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? The wife.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Buy a bigger house.

If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would you be and why? A saxophone; calm and relaxing.

Which three people, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party? George Best, Jack Whitehall and Prince Harry.

If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be and why? The Prime Minister. I would change a lot of things from the current laws.

Do you have any bad habits? I pick my nose!

... or any good ones? Always polite.

Do you go to bed worrying about the next day's workload? Very rarely.

What are you reading at the moment? Just finished reading Sir Alex Ferguson's autobiography.

What's the best advice you have ever been given? Never lie, it will catch up with you in the end.

What's your favourite smell? Coffee.

What do you do in your spare time? Watch footy, go out with friends and have family days out.

What's the daftest work related question you have ever been asked? "Is it real grass?"

What's your favourite piece of kit? Our Toro ProCore.

What three words would you use to describe yourself? Friendly, happy and helpful.

What talent would you like to have? To be able to sing - in tune!

What law/legislation would you like to see introduced? If you are sentenced to five years, you serve five years.
