Kevin Walsh Appointed RCA Racing Director

Following a rigorous recruitment process, the Racecourse Association (RCA) is pleased to confirm that Kevin Walsh has been appointed Racing Director, effective Tuesday 1^st August 2023. Kevin is the current Racing Manager at the RCA and will replace Andy Clifton in this senior role.

Kevin joined the RCA in 2018 and has played an integral role in a number of the Racing Department's key workstreams, including representing the interests of racecourses at the industry Fixtures & Funding Group, assisting with the preparation and publication of the annual fixture list and hosting race planning training for racecourse staff across the country. In the period ahead of Andy Clifton's departure, Kevin has fulfilled the duties of interim Racing Director.
