Manufacture and Supply of Original Kaloam

Roffey Brothers have been manufacturing and supplying a wide range of top dressings and rootzones for over 70 years.

We are pleased to announce that earlier this year we undertook to produce "Kaloam" using the original loam source and both loose and bagged Kaloam are now being sold for cricket wicket dressing and construction.

Alan Ford, who managed the original production facility at Enstone for over a decade, has joined Roffey Brothers on a consultancy basis.

It is important that continuity of the original raw materials is used to ensure that panning, rootsheer and binding strength is not adversely affected. The use of alternative raw materials with a different profile analysis may not be apparent until the following season after application when the wicket will develop uneven speed and bounce.

Dave Morland, who as Technical Sales Manager, is co-ordinating Kaloam, states that our priority is to restore the quality and integrity from last years issues.
