SCOTTS AND SYNGENTA COMBINE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
This year, Scotts and Syngenta are joining forces on one stand to demonstrate the very best in turf product innovation. The companies will focus on how turf professionals can combat turf diseases by using an integrated fungicide programme using Banner MAXX, Heritage and Daconil - products all developed by Syngenta and supplied by Scotts.
Banner MAXX is a new fast-acting, broad spectrum, systemic fungicide which uses unique chemistry to deliver exceptional control of Anthracnose, Dollar Spot and Brown Patch in turf. The active ingredient is propiconazole, which has a three-way action to prevent, cure and eradicate fungal pathogens with a single application.
The stand will also feature Scotts SierrablenPlus, a new generation of long-lasting fertilizers which guarantee a more even colour and prolonged grass growth without the need for regular supplementary feeding.
SierrablenPlus has been developed using innovative coating technology to ensure an improved grass green-up and a longer-lasting effect of at least three months. The product also has smaller granules - 7,500 per sq m, which is six times more than standard fertilizer. This means more even distribution when spreading and better absorption into the sward.
A number of industry experts will be on the stand during the show to give presentations and turf advice.
