Sweeping all before it

Following a successful demonstration of the Sweep-N-Fill top dressing brush Cameron McMillan, Course Manager at Queenwood Golf Club, had no hesitation in being amongst the first to order two units from JSM Distribution.

Cameron says "We first saw a product DVD at BTME in January, which prompted us to ask for a demonstration - mindful that we had a renovation week planned for mid-March. At Queenwood we have creeping bent greens, and have utilised many conventional methods to work dressings into the sward & aeration holes, including drag matting, brushing, and blowing with mixed results.

We had already begun our maintenance when the demonstration brush arrived. The results were immediately impressive, in comparison to the other time consuming methods, I could see that the sweep-n-fill brush was the answer to a problem, which had frustrated me for many years. It filled all the holes on the first pass! Perfect.

To say I was impressed would be a gross understatement; I was astonished at how well this brush filled the aeration holes, as well as leaving a clean surface, wet or dry. The counter rotating brushes really do lift the leaf of the plant; depositing the dressing around the base of the plant."

Cameron continues, "I can honestly say that this brush is probably the most impressive piece of equipment I have encountered in my entire career. It has transformed an unusually difficult task into a fairly simple one."
