Technical Surfaces Go Double or Nothing

River ParkFor synthetic maintenance specialists Technical Surfaces, regular maintenance is not just confined to synthetic grass surfaces as the River Park Leisure Centre can now confirm.

Technical Surfaces were recently called in to inspect the macadam tennis courts at the leisure centre in Winchester, with a view to implementing a customised maintenance regime designed to tackle issues of moss and contamination across all of the courts.

Although the on-site staffs was unsure as to the best practice in looking after their courts, they certainly knew who to call, as Technical Surfaces have been carrying out regular maintenance on the adjacent synthetic pitches for over six years.

"Following our initial completion of some much needed remedial works to restore both the playability and the aesthetics of the courts, the decision was made by the centre to proceed with our recommendation to run a maintenance programme for the courts in tandem with the existing regime in place for the five-a-side pitches" Commented Technical Consultant Tom Nott.

Sam Holdaway, Operations Manager for the centre explains: "We are delighted with the work that has recently been carried out to our tennis courts, and will be looking to make it an annual contract to run in line with the existing contract on our astroturf surface."

So remember, whatever your surface, whatever the requirements, you're only a phone call away from expert advice and practices specifically suited to your needs.
