The ‘must attend’ event for all in the amenity sector
There are now just 28 days to go to the major conference being organised on October 17th by the Amenity Forum. Indeed there are just 14 days for a guaranteed place.
As well as having excellent national speakers addressing key issues affecting the sector and a large number of exhibitors, it is an opportunity for the sector to demonstrate its commitment to best practice and continually driving up standards.
Speaking recently, John Moverley, independent chairman of the Amenity forum, said '''I would like to see as many as possible attend this important event .
We have an excellent programme and a large number of exhibitors which make it valuable in itself but I also wish to see as many as possible there to demonstrate the importance of our sector and our commitment to best practice, further strengthening our voice nationally. The best way to driving up standards is by voluntary action by the sector itself''.
Also at the conference will be a number of important announcements including a new initiative by the Forum in conjunction with partners to further increase information sharing in the sector on this important topic.
There will also be the release of a new Forum document establishing the Golden Rules in Weed Killer & Controls, Insecticides & Pest Control and Turf Disease Control.
These are challenging times with much change ahead. It is important that the sector commits itself to very best practice and shows its determination to do so.
Through this, we can maintain current methods of control, further develop integrated approaches and, most importantly, drive this from within the sector.
The conference is taking place at Leicester City Football Club on October 17th. The delegate fee has been kept as low to maximise attendance.
