VD 7621 ARFC 2008 004.jpgCharterhouse Turf Machinery has extended its iconic Verti-Drain range by adding the new 7621 to the line-up.

Designed for contractors, who find that the demand for the Verti-Drain produces a massive workload, or for golf course managers looking to tackle hard compacted fairways, the Verti-Drain 7621 has a working width of 2.1m and weighs in at 1650kg.

Penetration depth is up to 40cm to relieve the deepest compaction, improve drainage and rejeuvenate the sward, and a heavy duty gearbox has been used to withstand the significant force needed for this kind of work. Side plates on the 7621 have been reinforced to ensure smooth running, and adjustment of the working depth is carried out hydraulically from the tractor seat.

Tractor power requirement is 65hp, with 1900kg lift capacity to handle the substantial new Verti-Drain.

Herman de Bree of manufacturer Redexim comments: "This is a truly heavy duty machine for operators with the toughest decompaction jobs to tackle. We expect it to be in demand for work on racecourses, sports grounds and golf course fairways and to be extremely popular with contractors for its robustness and high output."
