Twenty questions with Phil Helmn

Who are you? Phil Helmn, Golf Course & Estate Manager at Heythrop Park.
Family status? Married to Annemarie for ten years. We have an eight year old daughter, Emily and, on December 17th 2011, my wife presented us with TRIPLETS - Harry, Artie & Florrie. They are a bit of a handful, but everything is going very well. They are five months old now and ALL slept through the night for the first time recently!!!
Who's your hero and why? I don't have one, but I greatly admire anyone who overcomes illness or life changing adversity with a smile and a positive attitude.
What is your dream holiday? It would have to be somewhere hot where I could lie next to a pool and relax all day (no chance of that at the moment!), that also has some history to explore.
What annoys you the most? Interference and negative attitudes.
What would you change about yourself? Not sure where to start!!!!
Who wouldn't you like to be? Anyone who works indoors.
Favourite record, and why? Most records from the 80s as they remind me of my youth.
Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? Got to be the wife.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Faint!! Then probably pay everything off I owe, then book a very long holiday with four babysitters!
If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would you be and why? A trumpet, because sometimes I like to blow my own!
What's the best advice you have ever been given? There's more than one way to skin a cat.
What's your favourite smell? Curry, or my wife's perfume - or should that be the other way round?
What do you do in your spare time? At the moment, I don't have any!
What's the daftest work related question you have ever been asked? Why can't you spray hot water on the greens to get rid of the frost?
What's your favourite piece of kit? My line marker spray! It's not my team's favourite though!
What three words would you use to describe yourself? Obsessive, unforgiving and resourceful.
What talent would you like to have? To be able to see into the future.
What makes you angry? Being taken for granted.
What law/legislation would you like to see introduced? Pay scales must be honoured.
