What would you change about yourself? Better eyes - after the girl I chatted up the other night!

Who wouldn't you like to be? A sports scientist - a groundsman's nightmare!

Favourite record, and why? I've never bought one.

Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? The girl I fell in love with twenty-eight years ago and lost!

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? I bought a car!

If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would you be and why? Drums - fun to play and magic finish.

What's the best advice you've ever been given? Finish a job and clean the machines before going home.

What's your favourite smell? The seaside on the first day of a holiday.

What do you do in your spare time? Walking and visiting a good country pub.
